Viridor has submitted a planning application relating to Horton Clay Pit adjacent to its closed landfill, near Small Dole, West Sussex. The application is for permission to use inert materials to infill the Horton Clay Pit Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) on Viridor’s land in order to sustain the geological features of the area.

Viridor submitted the planning application in June 2014, accompanied by an Environmental Statement. Information on the proposals can also be found in our Frequently Asked Questions.
